I have been a published freelance writer for almost 20 years and a publisher since 2003. I’ve written four published books and dozens of magazine articles published in magazines in the US, UK, and Australia. I currently write the Cessna Warbirds column for Cessna Flyer magazine. I am also a civilian pilot and a retired U.S. Air Force pilot with 4,000 flying hours.

I also edited and wrote the historical notes for a republication of James R. McConnnell’s fascinating wartime memoir Flying for France: With the American Escadrille at Verdun (2007, Slipdown Mountain Publications LLC). McConnell was one of the founding members of WW I’s Lafayette Escadrille.
